Britt Festival
June 8 to mid September, 2006 -- Jacksonville
Portland conductor John Trudeau and several friends were visiting Southern Oregon and stumbled upon the former hillside estate of Jacksonville pioneer Peter Britt. Being musicians, they immediately noticed an amazing resonance to the hillside's acoustics. Combined with the gorgeous view of the valley in the distance, they decided the hillside would be the perfect site for concerts. With a maximum capacity of 2,200, Britt is financially able to afford world-class artists while maintaining an intimate atmosphere. Phone: 541-773-6077, info@brittfest.org

June 8-10, 2006 -- Lincoln City
The Cascade Head Music Festival has been called, "A little jewel in the form of a festival—small enough to be supported by the area but high enough in quality to qualify as a world class artistic endeavor." This classical chamber music series returns to Lincoln City for the 19th year. As a music critic for the Oregonian has said, "The truth? There are times when the Cascade Head Music Festival is as good as it gets. On an American night, in an American town, in a beautiful cloister that isn't a cloister after all." St. Peter the Fisherman Lutheran Church every Thur and Sat. FMI 541-994-5333
