Mt. Hood Cycling Classic

The Mt. Hood Cycling Classic is already deep in planning for 2006. The dates selected for next years event will be May 31 - June 4. “We received tremendous support and feedback from the community and they are again looking forward to hosting the riders in 2006” says race director Chad Sperry. “Last year’s event ran very well, however we are looking at making things even bigger and better next year”. Full Sail Brewing will once again fill the role of title sponsor for the event making it their 4th year in a row. In addition Cooper Spur Mountain Resort will once again host the race at their picturesque location on the flanks of Mt. Hood. “We have some big plans in the works right now that would take this race to a whole new level, making it one of the premier stage races in the country” says Sperry. “We are looking at mixing things up in the Pro/Elite categories making the race a more balanced competition and offering time bonuses”.
